Friday, September 5th, 2008The first time these ears actually heard him speak, in-person, was in the immediate aftermath of the 1984 NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship Game when … after vanquishing the Houston Cougars (including his long-time rival and fellow 2008 Basketball Hall of Fame Inductee, Hakeem Olajuwon) … he stood speechless, beside his teammate and friend, Reggie Williams, lost for words to describe what he was feeling at that precise moment.
