GENERAL OBSERVATIONS
Toronto - Will miss both Anthony Parker and Shawn Marion more than anticipated - DeRozan is physically over-matched at this stage of his pro career - Defense and Rebounding remain most pressing issues - No ‘Prime Time’ Wing Player on the roster
Philadelphia - Athletic starting players at the #1/PG, #2/OG and #3/SF positions - Basket Cuts off Back Screens, and Post-ups, will be staples for Young, Iguodala, and Williams - Lack of consistent perimeter shooting might still be a problem - Physically, Brand is far from 100% |

Both of these squads have a long way to go if they are going to contend for a playoff spot in the EC this season.
