Thank you for your comment on my article Chris Bosh Deadbeat Dilemna and for the link to your article. When writing my article initially I had issues with how I wanted to present the material. Did I want to present it "as is" which would read as a copy and paste newsstory that only showed Chris Bosh as a heartless deadbeat turning his back on his daughter and the mother of his child or did I want to take the unbiased approach that showed how his actions could be potentially detrimental if he choose to make the mistakes many couples with children make when the relationship goes sour and they break up? I chose the unbiased approach as I usually do. Although I am the by-product of a single parent home, I have no bias against Chris Bosh. Its not my mission to bash him. As I stated at the end of my post, it's about that child. She is the most important thing in this case, not her mom's broken heart, not Chris Bosh's public persona and reputation.

If he did take action to care for his child that is great. That is his responsibility as a father bringing a child into this world. While the media should report this aspect of the case just as freely as the negative aspect it should be with the intention to show that the child will be cared for. Just like I don't feed into the whole bash the Octomom syndrome I will give the same respect to Bosh.
