Greg, Brandon, Rudy, Travis, Martell, LaMarcus, et al.
Sometimes … fully animated pictures do tell the story much better than 1000’s of words ever could.
As I’ve said before …
the Lakers best do their part to win the NBA championship THIS year!
It’s been a stretch of 31 seasons, in Portland, but … it’s safe to say that,
The Mojo has now returned to The Rose Garden … for REAL … with ‘The 2nd Coming’.

[Please Note: Someone NEEDS to make a Photoshop poster, right now, of these 6 Young Guns, together, in the Pacific Northwest, as they set off on 'the trail', in search of 'The Holy Grail', last seen in this part of the USA when the original 'Mountain Man' walked these hills, at the very apex of his game ... with the Final Destination already determined, in advance ... cause it says right here, that ... It's ONLY A MATTER OF TIME, for a wrecking crew like this.]

Flux,
I agree.

Want to know what first set my Spidey senses tingling about this Oden kid … who everyone in the basketball community [worldwide] has been waiting for since he was first identified as an elite level mega-talent many, many moons ago [on the AAU circuit, in the USA]?
In his one season of work at Ohio State … at which he barely balked at all about not being able to ply his chosen trade coming straight out of high school … once he broke his hand, what he did was set about learning how to shoot his FT’s exclusively with his non-dominant hand AND then extend his range on his non-dominant hand jump-shot just for good measure … so that when he eventually got back in the swing of things later that season he was still a dominant force on the glass but had also improved his ambidexterity noticably, while leading his team to the NCAA Title Game, as a TRUE freshman, at the Center position.
THAT right there, is a special talent … who is going to set the NBA on its collective ear for the NEXT generation.
This is a special cat, indeed … in the mold of The Great Bill Russell + Wilt + The Big Red-Head, all rolled into one.

That’s the first time I’ve seen Greg “play”. Simply astounding. He really is special.
What I find even more compelling about him.. is that he loves school. AND he wants to be an accountant. My “playing field”. I don’t know how much of that is true, but if it is… points in this corner. It also sheds some light on his mentality and approach to the game, IMO.

Well, this isn’t really worthy of another comment but ditto. I saw that video and immediately figured out when Portland plays Orlando (Nov. 10th and again in Dec.). Oden vs. Dwight Howard is mandatory viewing. I just pray no one gets hurt before then.
